Terms and Conditions
We want you to enjoy your charter with us as we rely on repeat business. All our customers are important to us and your comments and criticisms are welcome.
All customers are requested to read the following terms and conditions and to show respect for the sea, the environment and for the boat and it's crew.
All bookings are taken subject to weather conditions being acceptable at the time of departure. The skipper of the boat will decide as to the suitability of the sea conditions at any time before departure and during the charter period.
Tuna.ie and it's owner, agents or employees will not accept responsibility for any damage or loss to personal property aboard the boat howsoever caused.
All customers are requested and expected to wear a life jacket at all times throughout the charter period and to follow the instructions of the skipper of the vessel at all times.
The skipper of the vessel reserves the right to return to port at any time during a charter if he feels the safety of the vessel or it's customers may be compromised in any way.
The hire of rods, reels and other tackle is offered on the basis that the hirer is responsible for the equipment during the hire period and may be charged in full for any loss or damage to the equipment hired if caused by negligence or neglect by the customer.
Normal departure time is 9 a.m for general fishing, 6 a.m for tuna fishing. Other times by prior arrangement, customers who do not arrive within 15 minutes of the agreed departure time may be left behind !
Placement of a booking will be taken as an acceptance of these conditions by the customer.
A deposit of 20% of the charter fee is required before a booking can be confirmed
Please note that as there is no quota for Giant Tuna in Ireland and in the interests of conservation, Tuna charters are offered on the basis of a catch and release policy only.
